The GameZBoost platform further offers new opportunities for publishers and partners to monetize their web traffic and content through advertising, subscriptions, advergaming, in-game advertising, tournaments, and virtual game sales. This platform offers a number of attractive features including player profile management, game challenges, leader boards, chat and tournament management. The platform is robust and highly configurable and can be deployed with minimum impact on the partners’ day to day operations of their business.
SkillPod Media is headed up by Mark van Diggelen. Mark has been involved in the development and design of Internet initiatives since 1995 and more so has been actively involved in the development of online communities since 1997. Mark scoped & project managed the launch of the countries first property related portal, The Home Channel for Destiny Electronic Commerce, then owned by ABSA and Naspers. This brand was later sold to Metropolis Transactive where he was appointed as Chief Executive of the Property Community.
Mark went on to join Osiris Trading as Vice President Technology in 2000, where he architected and deployed the required scalable and highly redundant global technology infrastructure, necessary to ensure maximum system uptime for a major global player in the online casino and poker industry. He was promoted to Vice President of Business Development in 2002, where his mandate was to spearhead the development of new player acquisition channels through the deployment of non casino initiatives, including the rollout of online lotteries, online games portals, Bingo portals and a network of Search Engine Optimized gaming related portals focusing on the North American, Australian and United Kingdom Markets.
Subsequently, in 2004, Mark started SkillPod Media with the primary
focus of building highly interactive and addictive online casual
gaming brands. His vast SEO experience spans White, Grey and Black
Hat techniques, including effective design, optimisation and link
building to ensure websites get regularly spidered and indexed by
the top international search engines. Under Mark’s leadership
SkillPod Media ’s SEO consulting business has assisted leading
South African local portals and Internet businesses, including Brabys.com,
Ananzi.co.za, PrivateProperty.co.za, OUTsurance.co.za, News24.com
and Aucor.co.za to improve their overall search engine ranking.
